A brand new poll by University of Virginia’s Center for Politics has just been released. In that poll, 41% of Joe Biden voters either “somewhat agree” or “strongly agree” with the idea of American states seceding to form their own country. By contrast, 52% of former President Donald Trump voters either "somewhat agree" or "strongly agree" with the same statement.
So, Trump voters are more open to the idea of secession, but Biden voters are not too far behind. This growing dissatisfaction will continue to grow, becoming a more significant issue down the road as political polarization in the US gets worse, based on previous Pew Research data published in 2014 and 2020.
Additionally, Bright Line Watch in conjunction with YouGov released the results of a poll conducted earlier this year, revealing “…37% of respondents overall indicating a willingness to secede.” Support for secession varies by political affiliation and region. If overall support exceeds 50%, that could be the tipping point for a new secession event here in America.
What’s a key takeaway from all of this?
Get ready, get fit, and be healthy. Most importantly, move to where you think you’d have the best chance of living a peaceful and prosperous life because America as we know it may cease to exist in our lifetimes.
